I've been a founder in five companies. Still working on the billion-dollar idea—Team Scout.
The last 15 years I've been founding companies, producing TV shows, and building software that connects people in authentic ways. Before that, I spent over 15 years building marketing teams and leading commercial operations at Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies.

Modern websites and team management for youth sports—making communication and coordination easy.
I got tired of watching high school, homeschool, and club sports teams struggle with platforms built in 2014. Team Scout helps coaches and volunteers escape outdated platforms like SportsEngine. We provide modern websites that coaches can update via text, built-in merch stores to help fund team activities, volunteer coordination, registrations, and team communications that actually work. Real support from real people in Kansas City.
Right now I'm focused on selling websites because that creates revenue to fund development. But Team Scout is the full platform—everything a sports program needs to run well.
Made in Kansas City for teams everywhere.

The Work
Every venture taught me something. They're either still running or rolled into the next thing.
2022 – Present
A marketplace that connects agencies and brands—like VML and Colgate—with creators and influencers. We handle discovery, contracts, and payments so both sides can focus on making good work.

Three teams compete to renovate a van, RV, or school bus in five days—best build wins. We brought together creators, brands, and van life fanatics for events in Alamosa, Colorado and Smithville Lake, Missouri. The show proved you can make entertainment that's also advertising—if it's actually good. Now streaming on Blankspace.

2016 – 2021
A social platform built around communities, not algorithms. We raised $7M to build something different—a place where brands earn attention instead of stealing it.
People formed groups based on their interests—from sports teams and theater groups to ski clubs and non-profits. We partnered with YouTubers like Peter Draws, JHS Pedals, Alexander Studios, and many more. Gutted was a proof of concept by The Jump—demonstrating how to create original content that drove people to authentic brand communities.
Creator Space and Team Scout are both focused evolutions of what we built—connecting people who share interests in ways that benefit everyone.

The Titan Era
Before I started building my own companies, I spent over 15 years operating at the highest levels of the Fortune 10 and Global 500. This was an education in how the world's largest systems are built, managed, and scaled.
I was the strategist tasked with translating high-level vision into functional teams and market-facing brands during their most transformative growth years. These experiences taught me how to think at scale and appreciate the compounding power of large organizations—and ultimately made me want to have more direct influence on culture and outcomes.

The Bridge
Via Welcome to Seven · 20-Month Engagement
This engagement bridged my corporate experience and my founder era. Through Welcome to Seven—the agency I founded—I led a global strategic overhaul for what was then the 4th largest asset manager in the world ($2.7 trillion AUM at the time).
I was directly responsible for measuring and reporting global sales and marketing efficacy across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. Reported to the EVP and Head of Global Sales and Marketing, working closely with Gary McDonald who led their marketing function.

Board Service
I was elected by shareholders to the board of AirT in 2017. It's taught me governance, fiduciary responsibility, and how to ask hard questions politely.
NASDAQ: AIRT
AirT is a diversified aviation holding company with 15 independent businesses. The portfolio includes two FedEx feeder airlines operating 100+ aircraft, Global Ground Support (one of the world's largest de-icing equipment manufacturers and sole supplier to the US Air Force since 1999), and Contrail—an aircraft asset management platform with up to $408M in committed capital.
The company has completed multiple acquisitions during my tenure, including the December 2025 acquisition of Regional Express (Rex), Australia's largest independent regional airline. Over 1,600 employees across the portfolio.
I serve on three committees: Audit Committee, Compensation Committee (Chairman), and Nomination Committee. The Audit Committee role requires specific financial literacy—you're overseeing the integrity of financial statements and internal controls.
